Following a conversation I had with a colleague at the UK hypnosis convention last weekend, I decided to record this video. The conversation was stimulated by watching our keynote speaker mention the notion that many people in the hypnotherapy field belong to tribes. In my opinion, that tribalism can be considered a lack of free thinking – defending a stance and not shifting from it even when presented with viable evidence to refute the stance, for example. All of us in these fields will have heard about the notion of being a free thinker, but how many of us actually are free thinkers?

In this video I explore this and share some ways in which all hypnotherapists can ensure they are free thinkers. Enjoy!
